The Family and Myself
Hello everyone and welcome to my website! My name is Rita. I currently reside in the beautiful state of Pennsylvania. I’m a stay at home mom who is a photographer/ artist/ crafter, and now a blogger. Just in case that wasn’t enough to keep this mommy (and wife) busy, I’m also homeschooling my children. There will be more on than that in my blog.
I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful, very active children. My son, who is four, is my sweet little monster. I’m going to blame his father for his shenanigans, as Aidan takes after him (haha, jk -sorta). My daughter is two. She’s my little love bug, who loves me so much, she insists on following me around and repeats all I say and do. This includes trying to keep her brother in line.
Yes, she is two and already my little enforcer. I do try to limit the torture she puts her brother through. I have a feeling he’ll pay her back when it’s time to date (when she’s fifty)!
My husband is the best of all men. Not only does he put up with all my crazy ideas (though he says he has some crazy ones too), but he’s also a kick-butt chef. The man is a DIY in itself. You name it he can do it. Mechanics, building, cooking, wonderful dad…yeah, I have it made. Besides all of that, he has a heart of gold. I couldn’t ask for a better man to have by my side. What can I say, he’s my best friend!
I created this blog not only for writing therapy, but to reach out to other moms (and dads). To show you that you are not alone in this journey. Being a good spouse is hard. Being a parent is harder. So when you think you can’t take it anymore or you just don’t know what to do, know you are not alone. I’ll be here with my crazy stories, recommendations, ideas, and only the Gods know what else.
If that still doesn’t help, feel free to send me an email.
The End (Finally!)
Thank you for taking the time to read my About section. I hope after this, you have some kind of idea on the craziness you are about to get into. Don’t worry, it’s all good (mostly). So Like, Share, and Follow!
